normally, the first thing you see when you log in to the application is the dashboard, containing all the live data about events on all activities of your current location but for now we will ignore it in order to describe step by step process of providing services to a customer workflow overview as a manager, you are assigned to a certain location where you work each location offers certain services to its customers we use 3 main content entities • the basic content entity on the location is an activity each activity, be it bowling, pool or lounge restaurant has its own physical space within your location each activity is divided into slots (i e table in restaurant or lane in bowling) each slot in turn is divided by the smallest time period for which it can be reserved time slots prices for all activities are calculated per time slot • the second important entity is a supplement it is normally used as a custom addon to an activity, like an extra drink or snack that's served on the bowling lane • the last content entity is a package it is a common set of activities and supplements, offered to your customers at the specified prices (can be widely customized in time and by person type), and on the specified terms ( activities order, duration etc ) all 3 content entities may have their own customer service rules, restrictions, and pricing in order to provide our customer with certain services, we create a reservation for him, featuring a desired combination of activities, supplements and packages to be served from the moment you create a reservation and by the time it is completed, all communication with the customer is performed in accordance to the customer communication article once the reservation is complete, the customer will be charged accordingly to the payment processing flow all the tools needed to successfully process a customer can be found in settings window sales settings as you can see, all sales related data and tools are available to you in the settings section the first thing you will need to submit a successful sale is a customer you can access the customer list by clicking a corresponding section of the settings customer list let`s proceed with adding a new customer to start, simply click the add new button and you will be prompted to enter the new customer email email is the main data entry when it comes to customers it serves as the unique identifier and all customer data is attached to a certain email address if you enter an email that already exists in the system, the application will simply open the details of the selected customer and attach it to your current location if needed in customer details window we can easily edit, duplicate and remove customers when needed now that you have a customer to work with, you can arrenge a reservation for him in order to do that please go back to settings and select reservations this time creating reservations in the reservation list you can view, edit, remove and add reservations in the same way as you can do it with customers in the customer list the only difference is that you cannot remove reservations (instead you should set their status to cancelled) and that you have more filtering options here for now let`s move straight to adding a new reservation by clicking the add new button adding activities after we have set up main information and attending guest list, let's add some content to the reservation once you click on a grey cross, a selection modal window will appear this time let`s start with an activity when you choosing start / end time for activities you will notice that some time slots in the selection are greyed out this means that there is a certain conflict in that time slot it can be closed at the requested time, our there can already be another reservation created in it you can still use reserve it at your discretion, but normally you should use only white "blank" time slots for new reservations adding supplements let's save the activity and add a supplement the supplement modal window is much more simple there are different supplemets that can be used for different purposes some of them can be used for promotional discounts and may have negative prices, so you have to be very careful with the pricing here also it is important to remember that you can apply negative supplements only with those activities that have the same vat % in their pricing adding packages now that we've added a supplement, let`s add a package as well as you can see, there are more options here, because packages typically include a set of different activities and supplements the price for package is calculated per each attending person pricing rules for each attending person type are calculated based on the "start date and time" field saving reservations after you're done adding content to the reservation, you can see the updated pricing section where you can set the amount to be prepaid and the due date once you save the reservation you will be forwarded to its details page, where you can process it further using the actions button allows you to send a message to your main participant email if it is needed for example you can notify him that the reservation was rescheduled it is not recommended to use remove and duplicate buttons in reservations once created, the reservation cannot be removed if you decide to use duplicate function, you will still have to manually reschedule each activity, supplement and package, not mentioning the increasing chance to make a mistake by not clearing all the outdated leftovers
